5. Yes, we presented.

Today we did our presentation as you know. I hope, you didn’t get bored a lot. =) Although it was fun to present something in front of an audience, mostly it was difficult. But I’m happy for having experienced it before our main presentation, which will be based on a film. Because I’ve heard that some ENG 101 classes have to do only one presentation. So I think our system is good to get closer with the group members and to know them better. Another point that I want to offer my class mates is that we should keep meeting with our group. The best would be once a week. I know that it’s not easy to arrange the time, but it’s the only healthy way. Thanks all for the listening!
p.s. the discussion about “Marked Women” was interesting. I’ve learned lots of ideas from different point of views, which I’ve found useful in order to get the point of the theme. p.s.2 yes, I've managed it!

4. Posting Error?

I don't know why but I got difficulties with posting my new post which is about our presentations. I hope I could post it tomorrow.. =( (you would say: how did you post this one, I don't know it either.. =)

I was quite suprised when I've heard that we have to make an in text citation if we want to use an image in our blog. I think it is really useful to learn these things, even if it can be thought as little details.Actually it is not, I'm pleased for being aware of copyright issues. And the website that Sonja mentioned ( www.flickr.com ) , seems lovely. This is going to be the first image that I'll be refering to the creator..

2.todays lecture

Hi! Today we've talked about our oral presentations, which has an important effect(25%) on our final course grade. We have decided our groups and got our practice (a reading text) and final (a movie) presentation topics. It seems quite interesting, I'm looking for both of them. Our group- orange- has : the man who was almost a man (reading text by richard wright) and the full monty (1997). Although I had watched The full monty , I think it will be fun to analyse it with my group members. I tend to watch all the movies before the presentations (It would be better that way), but I don't know if I can manage it, we'll see..

1.Process Essay

As our little holiday comes to an end, I would like to share some details about my writing process.I hope you all wrote well and didn't got difficulties as I had.The website that Sonja had offered under the "How to write an academic essay" folder really helped me a lot. If you didn't read them, I'll recommend you to read with all my heart. At least it would help you for other essays that we're going to write during the year. The handout "Brainstorming" is really necessary if you don't know how to make it .(I didn't...) You can find it when you open one of these handouts that Sonja added. It's on right under the "Writing the paper" headline. Here's the URL if you want to open directly http://www.unc.edu/depts/wcweb/handouts/brainstorming.html
